Game 125: New York (73-51) vs Detroit (60-64)

Writer's picture: Philip CashierPhilip Cashier

For some strange reason both teams get to add a 27th player, Yankees chose Dominquez -- and SURPRISE they are starting him!!!

Little League World Series Game: Will Skubal make the Yankees look like a little league team?

So much for Wells being the starting catcher.

I know its a LHP, by why is DJ playing?

Peraza does get the start.

indeed, the O's won today, but they're not any games over for August

and they have some tough series coming up.

the Yankees should be 2 games up and starting to climb, not they've fooled around and are tied with Baltimore.

no more 'fooling around time' remains

it's been squandered

At least he has his dad and his uncle who can help coach him. Both of them (Al and Mark Sr) would make excellent pitching coaches.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
