You know what's outrageous? It's forcing games to be played in excessive cold and wet because the scheduling geniuses had the first 18 games of the season in cold-weather venues against teams the Yankees see either once all season (the NL) or once in the venue (Detroit and KC). Several of these games should have been rained/frozen out, but the home teams and umpires were forced to make the players play. If it had been NY vs. Baltimore or Boston instead, the games could easily have been postponed to a later series.
