Oh, I wasn't suggesting that Fulmer come out, just noting that he was getting hit hard (he'd been better looking in his prior appearances). I agree with the strategy of using the back of the bullpen in blowouts. Heck, half a century ago when I was playing Strat-o-Matic and the Yankees were up by a lot late in the game, I'd bring in Ken Clay or Ken Holtzman to finish the game.

BTW, Mets playing a wild one in Miami: NY blew an EIGHT-RUN lead, but now came right back the next inning with ~~(so far) two~~ SIX runs. I'm glad I'm not principally a Mets fan. The Yankees do enough as is to my stomach lining.
