Jazz's thumb hurts -- that sucks.

Poor YS organist -- no Jazz tonight!

At least Jazz is not on IL.

Boone uses Jones to protect Lombard. Or is Lombard protecting McMahon? Will the DOJ crack down on protection schemes?

Fulmer's getting tagged in the 9th. Good thing there's a 5-run lead.

Lineout to SS requiring an acrobatic leap? Loud line foul (before strikeout)? Triple in the gap. That's pretty much my definition of "getting tagged."

I think thats a done deal. They just have to live with the Ks. But he is hitting .245 despite his high K rate.

BTW, Mets playing a wild one in Miami: NY blew an EIGHT-RUN lead, but now came right back the next inning with (so far) two SIX runs. I'm glad I'm not principally a Mets fan. The Yankees do enough as is to my stomach lining.

Why is Luis Gil up here if he's just going to sit out in the pen during the game?
