Life imitating art: Yankee relievers and Charlie Brown.
Slater gets a start.
Go with the hot hand! If Caballero is breathing, he should start rather than Volpe. Opps, Volpe sore left shoulder!
It's a LHP, so I understand Judge starting -- but NOT vs RHP.
Judge is on the verge of a No Crown Season -- will probably lose his batting avg lead today.
Stanton's hot streak is over -- but should return for the play offs!
Holton hears a who? I'd settle for lots of cracks of Yankee bats!

what's the over/blunder on that one, phil?
Anytime you do something good more times than did Joe DiMaggio, that's something, no question. But let us never forget (and I choose that phrase today deliberately) that Joe D missed three years in this nation's armed services in a war against fascism. In 1942 and 1946, he had 21 and 25 home runs. If you gave him an average of 23 for the three years he missed, DiMaggio would have finished with 430 home runs. Judge will get there, too, but it'll be another year and a half.
So I stand by saying three solo homers won't do it by themselves, but if you mix them with 6-11 RISP, that's a good formula for victory (at least as long as Leiter doesn't get in the game).
Wow, down 0-2, Slater came through. I'm surprised and impressed.
