Game 154: Yankees (89-64) vs Athletics (67-86)

Yankees need a much better performance from Cole.

Apparently Soto is alright, he's in the lineup. But the way he's been slumping they should rest him for the O's series and the playoffs.

Verdugo > Dominquez!

Weaver looks like he is gettn QUITE comfy in the closer role

can we please put a very final fork in all, any, and every conversation about Cole being gutless and / or done as a top tier pitcher

a mistake was made. Cole will surely learn from it. comes back with a complete game.

Cole is one of the the unquestioned best pitchers in all of baseball and the Yankees are very lucky that being a Yankee was his childhood dream and should be wildly thrilled to have him.

finally, Verdugo had the entire year to prove that he deserved to be the starting LF. JDom became a MLB player last year. he was an injured MLB player, n…

I still don't want to count on Weaver to be the closer in 2025. I want to sign or trade for someone who's done it at times so if I need Weaver in the 7th, I can call for him then. Oh, and to have a Clloser at both AAA and AA next year. If that means Beeter at AAA, Stevens at AA, to start in those spots next year, I'm good.

As Paul would point out, if so, our designation would be One Of Twenty-Three.

I keep hearing morons blowing vuvuzelas. Fans like that don't deserve a team.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
