Tryout for Gil? I loves me some Schlittler, but not sure I'd want a a rookie starting game 3.

How can Boone possibly let Rice play the game after he hit a GS?

Great AB by Caballero, 9 pitches and success.

Bad play by Taylor, a good defensive CF (7 DRS on the year). He needed to dive for it. Might not have caught it, but playing back to field the hit there was no way he was going to throw out Judge.

Replying to

The bad thought I had was that he might have been thinking that a 99th loss was a lesser evil than risking injury from an awkward dive.
