Nice to see the starter go 6 and actually get the win. We can't expect the bullpen to give up 0 R all season, but this is a great start to 2024. Soto is playing like Soto playing for a contract. Cabrera is playing like Miguel in his prime. Here's hoping they can sweep the Cheatros tomorrow.
the Yankees' undefeated season continues
and they continue to produce 5 runs/gm
3-0 start.
Can't get better than that!
I really like only having to face Hader while the Yankees are leading. Let's do it again tomorrow.
I'm grateful for the insurance run, but I hope this doesn't somehow incentivize Volpe to regress to swinging for the fences all the time. If he can keep hitting .400, though, I won't complain about the occasional home run.
