YES

4 runs in 6 innings... how to describe it?

lets say, it's not what you want

but he arrived at the 4 runs in an unfortunate way on a day that he pitched very well

yes we are in agreement, 4 runs is not the number you want to see your starter allow. that said, when he left the game the team was leading.

BTW, I also did think that Rodon could have at least been allowed to begin the 7th. in the 5th and 6th he looked very strong. there were no signs of struggle or laboring. he is easily capable of 110-115 pitches. as long as he is navigating in no difficulty, I would have let…

Not a second guess...

Tyler Matzek is not a good pitcher. That had disaster written all over it. We were having dinner. I saw there was a pitching change. I said, "They're bringing in WEaver to get the last out."

I saw Matzek and said "that wasn't a good move." Ethan said, "Boone is punting this game away."

Also, I have sung Trent Grisham's praises the last few weeks, but he misplayed three fly balls today. he looked horrible out there, clueless.

I trust that Grisham will not continue to play head scratching defense. sadly i have less than zero confidence that the fella who is supposed to be putting guys in position to succeed and win, will stop making head scratching decisions

WHY only ONE pitch for Hill? we just absolutely had to get another pitcher in the game? I cannot imagine there is one other human on the planet who thought Matzek was the correct choice!!! Hal? he aint even watching! saves him having to ask questions that have no intelligent answers
