any question why there is no thought of taking one of the hottest LH hitters in MLB off the bench to bat vs a RHP in place of a RH hitter? that RH hitter is also batting .225 ish is 0-2 with 2 Ks on the night and recently slumping?

good job by JDom in the 9th realizing that he did not see a single strike in his entire AB and letting the in off the plate pitch go with 2 strikes after swinging at it twice in the AB before that pitch!!

he is VERY consistently getting hits or walks at the end of the game

Dominguez has a good eye and does a good job of getting on base,

but he did not do very well when it was time to insist that his colleagues

drive him in.

said to my son today that you play every game one at a time, BUT if I was looking at this roadtrip, I feel like I would have set a goal of 7 and 2 or better.

that said, I was very very scared that I smelled a game like this coming. sometimes it seems like the Yankees never want the fans to be too comfortable or too happy

just my way of musing about how the Yankees seem never to be trying to have an undefeated season.

Paul thinks it's because they don't go "all in".

I tend to look for alternative explanations.🤔
