Judge started off June with a BOOM.....and Stanton, well, I finally get to eat the Kit Kat bar that was sitting on my desk waiting for Stanton's next homer. Thanks to Paul, I started a fun tradition. Buy a Kit Kat bar and wait for Stanton to homer in a game, and then celebrate the homer by eating it the way Stanton does.....from the end, without breaking off pieces. But I wait for the game to end because I have to make sure I am celebrating a Yankee victory first. I won't do the Stanton homer celebration if it's for a losing cause.

I will take numbers like those for the Yankees BIG THREE. Also, I think the Yankees BIG THREE are doing better this season, so far, than the Dodgers BIG THREE (Betts, Ohtani, Freeman). Ohtani is having a great season so far, but he has NOT been so great with Runners In Scoring Position. And Freddie Freeman hasn't been as good this year as he has been in previous years. The Yankees trio is doing much better, especially if those homer totals come to fruition, as they have an excellent chance to do so.

of course, giving up a run or two will not change the outcome of the game. the team can afford to have the relief pitcher eschew subtlety


can the relief pitcher afford to follow that course of action?


as agent for the player, would you advise him that allowing a run or two while pitching one late inning, will be understood as pursuing a team-first approach and that it will result in the team being increasingly appreciative of his work?


would you suggest that, in a year or two, when the reliever is seeking employment from a different team, his elevated ERA will not be a hindrence?
