Let's hope this goes better for Tonkin and Boone than Milwaukee did.

Here come old Tonkin, he come walking in slowly

He got so-so fastball, he one slider roller

He get strikes below the knee

Got to be a closer, he just do what Boone please

Win together, right now, beat KC.

The key to the bottom of the 8th was no walks. OK, they got a couple of hits and scored one run. You start walking people, and the game is tied or worse.

Here's another idiot with "Jr." on the back of his jersey. Oh, did Bobby Witt Sr. unretire and get put on the Royals 26-man roster? Because that's the only reason you'd need that suffix on the jersey (and note that when Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. played together on the Mariners, they didn't put the suffixes on their jerseys, and neither did Ripken pere and fils). What a fool. "Jr." isn't part of your surname, Halfwitt.

In a way, it sort of honors the legacy of the "Sr" player (the dad) by not being referenced without the "Jr" on their back, and not verbally referencing them without the "Jr" being verbalized.
