some interesting events around MLB

the Jays lost. YIPPEEE more on that later

in the SDP vs boston game there were a total of 7 pitchers used. SDP pitched King, Peralta, Marianocio. boston pitched Gray, Wiessert, somebody, Chapman. former yankee pitchers pitched for 51 of the 54 outs. interesting

have the Phillies finally had enough of the slow start? they put up 7 runs in the top of the first

just thought those facts were a bit fun and interesting.

had you not watched the game and had only the 8-2 final score from which to judge, you might have thought the game to have been more closely contested than it was.

the game was won in the bottom of the first inning

but seriously, folks.

the Marlins leapt after their second hitter opened the scoring, but Judge beat them back down.

Yankee fans may have had worries .... because Yankee fans do worry.

however, the Marlins NEVER gave the appearance of a team expecting to claw back and take the game.

the lead that Judge provided never was relinquished.

I'm sure that you'll not relax until the Yankee offense operates far more efficiently,

and that may not happen this season unless and until Cashman imports an additional right-handed infield proficient.

but this team pitches and the pitching is not going to succumb to injury

it's far more likely to remain the AL's best this season as Cole and Rodon come marching in

well 7 games in and one thing has become extremely clear! when the other starters start coming back, Warren will clearly have to go down

i mean come on, he has given up more runs than anyone on the whole staff. beyond that he has a very very alarming trend.

first start... 1 run allowed

second start... 2 runs allowed

I mean come on, by the time he gets to his 9th or 10th start that is going to be a big problem

all stupidity aside, haha, as long as he throws strikes and avoids nibbling, he can be very very good!!! way more often than not, it takes quite a few solo HRs to cause trouble, especially when you…

I would say that if we end up with something similar to Catfish as our 5th starter we probably end up being pretty happy
