Peraza is worth a look. At least he should provide a better glove and hustle. Torres isn’t hitting anyway. Nothing to lose.

That's the advantage to getting into another team's bullpen as early as possible. The more relievers the other team has to use, the better your chances of facing that one reliever whose day it isn't.

Back in the day, if starters didn't pitch complete games, at the very least, they would pitch up to the 8th or 9th inning when the CLOSER would take over, and yes, very often, the CLOSER would also pitch the 8th inning in addition to the 9th inning.....immediately after the starter left.
