well the hitting in general has looked much better. now hopefully we have some healthy pitchers and they get back to pitching well

we also have not been getting any kind of breaks

not saying I dont realize we have also been playing some bad baseball, but it would be nice to catch a break or two

and here we go again

the ump can have a HUGE impact just by screwing a team on VERY few key calls

for instance

a BAD called strike 3 to the leadoff hitter in the 8th inning of a 1 run game

i know there are places that grade the umps after each game. i would like to see the grades, but I have not found anything that is relatively easy to access

yesterday specifically, I thought the ump was about as good as could be. Judge specifically did not get impacted by any missed calls

really the wrong 3rd strike to Grisham leading off the 8th was really the only miss. of course as I pointed out that is about as critical of a moment for one miss as there could possibly be
