well Crawford 68 pitches to complete 7 innings is NUTS. very sharp outing for him. Cabrera doubled off on the liner in the 6th was tough

do Judge and Soto need the all star break to recharge? my guess is that this is just one of the normal downs, in the ups and downs, of a season

will they reach 90 HR this year? (currently 53)

I give a lot of credit to Red Sox pitching coach Andrew Bailey, who has done an amazing job with Crawford and the other Red Sox starters. I so wish the Yankees picked him up when they had the chance to, before the Red Sox swooped in and got him.

Maybe the Yankeed can make up for it by bringing in Dave Righetti as their pitching coach, who would do a fabulous job with them, just as he did a fabulous job all those years he served the San Francisco Giants in that capacity.

The Red Sox hit too many home runs.

Alan, that's why the Yankees NEED to hire Dave Righetti as their Pitching Coach (and give Matt Blake the role he had in Cleveland, as the organization Pitching Coordinator). The reason I specifically named Dave Righetti, is because during all those many years he served as the San Francisco Giants pitching coach, Righetti has shown that he has an uncanny knack for teaching pitchers to avoid giving up home runs.
