Game 93: Yankees (55-37) vs Rays (44-46)

Can the Rays go over .500 during this series?

To the delight of few, Torres is back in the lineup.

Judge gets to avoid the turf and DH's tonight.

Over / Under: Rodon giving up 2.5 HRs

Can Soto and Judge break out of their slumps?

Can Rodon pitch a good game?

They only thing worse than the Yankees' lineup? The Rays lineup!

IF.......The Yankees are able to come from behind and win this thing, you have to give credit to Rodon and the relievers for stopping the bleeding from the 2nd inning on, and holding them to 4 runs giving the Yankees at least a chance of coming from behind and possibly winning.

Replying to

That's why we need a pitching coach like Dave Righetti, whether it is actually him, or someone else, who can work with pitchers, as he does, to prevent giving up the long ball.

Soto has been swinging at far too many first pitches

and,

perhaps in consequence,

Judge has been drawing too many walks

Somebody said he came from New Orleans

Where he got in a fight o'er a cajun queen

And a crashin' blow from a huge right hand

Sent a Lousianna fella to the promised land

yes, but I prefer banded bundles of hundred dollar bills,

used, non-consecutive and completely lacking in dye packets

The Yankees seem to have The Wedding Offense -- it's all Rice!

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
