The Earth may not be flat, but the Yankees are.

So I was looking at that 8-5 triple play Minnesota pulled off yesterday, and I see Gio Urshela was involved. He was also involved in all three Yankee triple plays last year (the only Yankee to involved in all three). So my question is: Who is the all-time leader in triple play participation (assist or putout)? I'm guessing Urshela, but I can't imagine how to research it.

ETA: Well, turns out there's this page: Jonathan Schoop and Bill Dahlen also have been involved in four TPs. So I guess the question is whether there is someone who has five. I'll save the rest of the research for later.

Good, they needed that run. 15-straight scoreless innings, going back to Game 2 on Saturday.

Taillon pitching like he has PTPD (Pittsburgh Terrible Pitching Disorder).

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
