You Can't Win Them All...

The Yankees closed out August by losing 3-2 to the White Sox.

The big bats came up in the ninth inning, but were not able to push a run across.

In the series, the Yankees won 3 of the 4 games.

Full recap in the morning from Ed Botti.

Great, we gained 2 games in the standings, and then gave One back ☹️😕, that I think could have been avoided, but hindsight.bla,bla,bla... just another Lost opportunity,I guess, Not many of them left ??...

Sure wish we had a game tomorrow,on the Holiday, be nice to watch the Yankees... I'm confused, the good Yankees scoring 10 runs a game, are they the Jekyll's or the Hyde's??? I hope Houston is in a slump, got shutout today 3-0 by Anaheim of Las Vegas.. LoL ☮️⚾...

For Gil, the only thing to work on between starts is finding his missing delivery. He is literally all over the place. and his pitches are literally spitting all over. You think Blake and/or the Yankees (cough, cough) Pitching Coaches can do something that simple, that basic?

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
