Even before the spike last year, Rizzo was no longer the GG 1B. He just can't bend anymore like he used to, and he really is only now just about a decent defensive 1B at this point. I think the Yankees have to do some serious self-scouting of SWB (AAA) 1B T.J. Rumfield. Is his D as good as advertised? Can they somehow keep his average up while tapping into his lefty power? Or do they have to look at Ben Rice, Augustin Ramirez, or even Tyler Hardman?
