Yankees 8

Cardinals 4

They call that a sweep.

The Yankees have won 5 of their last 6 games.

It was the cards. Lets see what they do again bosox. If they sweep that series, or take 3, now we're on the way

Plus the Blue jays Red Sox and Guardians all lost. If only the Mariners would lose tonight it would make a good day in Yankee land.

Will Warren really pitched better than his numbers today. the umpire had a garbage zone and even with that, his number should say zero earned runs

McMahon and Bellinger make those plays very literally 99 of 100 times!!

on the third run both Jazz and Rice made mistakes. I dont think the guy goes to 2b if Rice stops the ball from going past him

To be fair, Warren's road numbers, like his numbers overall, are skewed by the two really bad starts at Toronto and LA. Take those out, and his road numbers are 1-1, 13 GS, 49.1 IP, 22 ER, 4.01 ERA. Still 1.15 runs/game worse than at home, but still slightly better than League average (4.10). Even if Warren pitched at home like he does on the road, slightly better than League average from your No. 5 starter is pretty darn good.

going to be interesting to see how much they try to get Caballero into the games this week. this series was a good showcase of the value he brings

i think you should take a look at all the 3b in the league. there are not a whole lot of great options at 3b and not every player is available

apparently Ketel Marte and AZ are having some difficulties. he is a player who came up playing multiple positions. can he play 3b? he is a great hitter. maybe trade Jazz for him since Jazz walks after next year. of course that would not improve 3b but it definitely improves 2b

I think McMahon paired with a good RH platoon bat gives us a very very good 3b scenario

we all know that the Twins and Cards are not exactly the best teams in the league.

but I also do not think any wins vs MLB teams should be discounted!! you have to play the game no matter who is in the other dugout. throw the ball, catch the ball, and hit the ball!!

Yanks defense is looking much better. Judge seems to be coming around, fingers crossed. LOVE the way the Yankees ran the bases this series!!!

noteworthy- I think Stanton looked locked in as always even after not playing for basically 4 days!!

a day to rest, then lets take 5 of the next 6 too!!!
