what kind of scheduling is it that allows the sox to have an OFF day on a wednesday? wednesday is NEVER an off day

seriously when we played them in June, they came in after an off day and we had to travel LATE from KC

today they have an off day and we have to travel late after an extra inning game in tampa

well golly gee, interesting that Boston gets to have 2 4 game series vs NYY when they have an off day on the day before the series begins? HOW?
