The Yankees saved Carlos Rodon for the Blue Jays series.

Well, that didn't work.

5 innings, 6 hits, 4 walks, 4 runs (2 earned)

Jays 4, Yankees 1

Does anyone feel it's Toronto year 🤔 I do. Blue jays is just better than us plain and simple. Forget the division we lucky if we get one of the wild card.

Dominguez got the call after 37 AAA PA in 2023. Spencer Jones has about 75 AAA PA and he's putting up Aaron Judge 🔥 numbers. I know that the RailRiders are in Rochester this week, but if Jones has another couple of games like he's been having, does he get the call for Friday's game? or does he magically appear tomorrow in Toronto?

Replying to

NO reason to call him up to sit on the bench.

we did not want Grisham playing because he would stunt Jdom, so who sits for Jones?

Grish has an .800+ OPS

Bellinger batting well over .300 since early May

Jdom has been hitless since the break but he has smoked the ball in multiple ABs in multiple games

and even being 0 fer since the break he still has OBP over .330 and he still sees a LOT of pitches

so who is sitting so that Jones is not? last year Jdom should have been brought up WAY more aggressively because Verdugo sucked!!

this year we have the best group of 4 OF in MLB.

to bring Jones up…

12 Ks, 2 errors for our side. Toronto struck out 4 times. Can't win if you can't put the ball in play.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
