QUICK HIT - Judge Blasts it Out: Yanks 6, Jays 5

Aaron Judge just walked it off. A game winning homer to steal victory from defeat.

The Yankees entered the 9th inning down 5-3.

Judge's three-run BOMB (into the second deck) won the game.

PAY THE MAN

he leads the team and the Yankees cant replace him.

Trout is nearly a year older and will be paid $37M per for the 8 seasons after this one

Replying to

Trout may have had slightly more leverage, being younger and being a player superior to Judge.

BUT

that doesn't change the terms of the contract, which is for a duration 8 more seasons and for $37M per.

if anything, recent inflationary events have served to indicate that Judge should receive more than $37M

beyond that, I fully agree that this is going to be of great interest to Yankee fans.

questionable as to whether judge can sustain his current level of play for the entire season, but, if he does, they will be forced too PAY THE MAN
