Yankees 10, White Sox 2

The New York Yankees continued their domination of the worst teams in the league. (But, hey, these are the games they're supposed to win.)

Carlos Rodon pitched six innings allowing only one run.

Trent Grisham hit a grand slam.

Anthony Volpe homered.

This is now 6 consecutive wins for the Yankees. Over these games, the Yankees have outscored their opponents something like 453 - 6. (It's a lot...)

The Yankees are 15-11 in August.

The post season is on the horizon.

Full recap in the morning from Andy Singer.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
