Once the Tigers started scoring, the decided to never stop. The Tigers scored:

  • 2 runs in the 5th inning

  • 1 run in the 7th inning

  • 5 runs in the eighth inning

  • 3 runs in the 9th inning

For the second game in a row, the Yankees bullpen looked overmatched against their opponent.

The Yankees scored one run on an Austin Wells homer.

Full recap (of sorts) in the morning from me.

Yankee Definition of a bullpen: set the Game a blaze.

But it is nice to see Wells playing well even if his walks and strikeouts took a step back, but again, how much did the circulatory issue play into it.

yup.

they used their 451 fireman, the Leiter,

and now, 8 games deep into their Big 12, they're 4 and 4.

it's not what you want.

Replying to

Leiter is not what you should want.

'fearlessness' is not a great thing when it's an accompaniment to a lack of effectiveness
