Hello All!
Here is this week's Readers' Thread:
Are you concered about the Yankees' bullpen? If so, what can the Yankees do to address your concern?
Enjoy!

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

This Bullpen issue was the Vote that I cast the other day.!!! I don't trust anyone from the Dodgers, why do you think they let them go ? Or traded them ?? We need some, 1-2-3 guys who can go more than one inning, every 2 days, or a spot starter to do said roll....
Last night, Aaron Boone must have been confused and thought Lou Trivino was off the Injured List and asked for Trivino to come into the game and got....Trevino....the catcher! The same confusion could result in Jon Berti coming to the mound instead of Nick Burdi......(Just joking, of course!)
But seriously, RIGHT NOW, the Yankees two BIGGEST NEEDS are bullpen help, especially a bonafide CLOSER (Too bad Mason Miller of the A's is not available! He is electric!) and a solid Third Baseman.

yeah, there should be a bit of concern.
the pen has been thinned by injuries and needs plumping.
if Burdi and Kahnle soon return, things might look less lean
and the return of Cole to the rotation should also result in adding a good arm to the bullpen arsenal.
acquiring a big lefty would also be welcome
There are several things to do to help this pen. Here are some of my ideas, in no particular order:
Stop this one inning garbage on most of the relievers. They need more guys who can go even 1.1 IP, or 3+ innings.
Stop prioritizing every other rehabbing arm out there, other 'undervalued' relievers from other teams. The Yankees have 6 potential bullpen arms to contribute in in the big leagues, who ae currently in AA & AAA - Erick Barclay, Yoendryz Gomez, Ryan Anderson, Yorlin Calderon, Jack Neely, and Danny Watson. And that's not including Clayton Beeter. Barclay & Gomez are inexplicably in the rotation in AAA, and the other 4 are all in AA. The one bad th…
