Interesting how the Yankees had their "A" lineup against lowly Detroit. The biggest stars all started today. However, yesterday, against Baltimore, the Yankees top contender for the AL East title, Juan Soto was not in the lineup, Aaron Judge was not in the lineup, Anthony Rizzo was not in the lineup, Giancarlo Stanton was not in the lineup, Austin Wells was not in the lineup, and their big cleanup hitter (#4 hitter) was Trent Grisham. And after the Yankees lost a meaningless Spring Training game to Baltimore with THAT lineup, a commenter said "The Yankees are 'not in the same league' as Baltimore". It's amazing to me that anyone can ever think that when the Yankees used a lineup…

I guess it is more about the long bus rides than it is, the quality of the opponent. That's Spring Exhibition Baseball, and why we can't take the outcome of the games too seriously.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
