Didn't like that Lagrange only went 4 innings. Had it been me, I would've had him come out in the 7th and face the first batter then pull him. I wanted that 5th up and down.

hasn't he gone 5 most every outing in Double A?

why push now, so early in the season

and especially when they don't want him to begin the season as an MLB starter?

he's quite big, but still, the kid turned 22 in February

I guess Cole had done some PIP during his rehab.

twas a good bunt.

Rice had the only chance at gloving it and getting the out

and that was not any great chance

I'm just wondering if either Elmer Rodriguez or Carlos Lagrange will be pitching today after Cole. I also hope that the Yznkees are smart enough to put Cole on the 60 IL to start the srason.

They absolutely have to, simply to protect themselves from themselves. I don't trust at all the Yankees people who make the decision when to activate someone. They will always do it a few days earlier than take that extra day. Most times thise guys are never really right.
