With all the minor league vets assigned to SWB, and if Vivas gets through waivers, he can't refuse the assignment, GLJ will be stuck in AA, no matter how good a Spring he has, or how well he finished up in AA last year.

IF GLJ gets hot and does well in AA he might get a shot at AAA.

No, yhey really don't, but he may play his way onto the opening day roster. I hadn't projected him making the team, but he's having a fine spring thus far.

Off topic, but I recall last off-season, there was some discussion about signing Jurrickson Profar, who is now facing his second PED suspension. Like the cliche goes, sometimes the best deal is the one you don't make.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
