Ok, just for fun... how far will the Yankees advance in this year's postseason?

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

I don’t think they get past the sux. They could’ve avoided the wildcard if not for some really dumb losses this season. They’ve proven they can’t beat the sux this year. Hate to say it but, by the end of this coming week, the Yankee offseason begins.
I think if they get past the Wild Card (or can avoid it), they go all the way. The WC has me a bit nervous. I think over a longer series, they are best team in the AL.
The post-season, in its current format, is a dice roll. The team that gets hot in October is most likely to win. The starting pitching is solid, and there are three currently very reliable relievers (Williams seems to have found himself a comfort zone in the 8th inning), backed by Hill and Cruz, who can be very effective (but slightly less reliable). But the key is hitting. Right now, the Yankee hitters are red hot, so sure, they could continue on that trajectory and win it all. Or Judge and/or Stanton, not to mention Wells and Volpe, could suddenly go cold, and the Yankees start losing games 4-3, 3-2, 2-1, and be out of it by Friday.
I wish I could say yes, but I can't.
but seriously, folks.
