Great collection of comments & I appreciated not having to read any profanity so thank you for selecting only the comments that were made by people with class. These comments will ring in my mind until next season - if we have one that is.

Ultimately, Hal Steinbrenner is not going to change anything, so buckle up.

More hits than Ks. It's a basic, simple measurement that quickly tells us how things are going. We haven't come close this series.

Paul , what dan clark (quoted above) doesn't understand, or doesnt think its worth noting is that they also had $8.47 billion in total gross revenue in that period. We can all attack the ineffective style of play, and failure in the post season, I'm probably as vocal about that as anyone, but one thing they do right is make money.

And it will continue with influence from Apollo Global Management. These PE people smell cash cash flow and do everything they can to cut expenses (salaries) and increase it. Within a few years they'll probably replace the grounds crew with a robotic operation to save money.

The Least Among Them.png

"This charming and meticulously researched book will remind you of baseball’s power to change and enrich lives far beyond the diamond."

—Jonathan Eig, New York Times best-selling author of Luckiest Man, Opening Day, and Ali: A Life

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
